I had really hoped that Aya’s fall concert DVD would arrive while I was on Christmas vacation. Alas, it didn’t arrive until yesterday. That of course meant that I had to drop anything I had planned so that I could pop in the DVD and watch (and review)! Below, you will find my review of the concert. The majority of my comments are my initial reactions to the performances. This  [ Read More ]

Morning Musume Aren't Hopeless Dream Chasers

It has been a long time coming, but I am absolutely in love with a Morning Musume song once again!! When Naichau Kamo came out in February, I was so excited for it was Morning Musume’s first release that I had gotten really excited about since Kanashimi Twilight back in 2007. When their 39th single was announced, I was hoping for another good one, particularly since this was likely going  [ Read More ]

I’ve been a bad, lazy blogger recently, which has put my concert review on the backburner. I originally watched this concert on April 15th, and I’m just posting this review today, May 1st. -_-; As with my usual concert reviews, I’ve gone over every song – some with more detailed thoughts than others. Also, as per usual, some songs were commented on during my first watch through, while others which  [ Read More ]

[Javascript required to view Flash movie, please turn it on and refresh this page] Actually… Make that two reasons. XD This performance comes from Morning Musume’s Fall 2008 concert tour – Resonant Live. I’m not going to do a review of the entire concert, but I watched through part of  [ Read More ]

Matsuura Aya’s last album as a Hello! Project artist was released on January 21, 2009. My copy arrived today (or rather yesterday now, since it’s past midnight) and I happily opened up the album (which I had already listened to) to browse through the beautiful lyrics booklet. I have to say that the photos within are wonderful and Aya just looks absolutely stunning… Thus, I scanned all the pages with  [ Read More ]

… and the FC concert DVD… and the 1st concert tour… XD There’s just a lotta love from maiZe to Buono! I don’t quite know where this photo is from, but I found it on the H!O picboard! <3 I’ve been a little bit slow on my reviewing of new singles and/or albums that have struck my fancy (take Berryz Koubou’s 5th album, for example, which still has a half  [ Read More ]

Wonderful Hearts 2008 Summer Concert Review

Posted by maiZe November - 5 - 2008 2 Comments

About two weeks ago, the Wonderful Hearts 2008 Summer Concert was released, and I must say I had been looking forward to seeing this concert ever since I saw the setlist back in July. First off – Buono!’s new single (which I obviously hadn’t heard yet) was on the list, and secondly, KIOKU NO MEIRO!!!! OMG HIGH-KING! YES PLEASE!!! … XD Yea. Anyway, I’ve watched the concert and reviewed it,  [ Read More ]

Aya’s concert Spring Concert was released this week on DVD in Japan, and holy geez, is it ever smoking!! Watching this concert has revived my love for Aya! Not that I stopped loving her, but my fascination for the H!P Kids kept me so occupied that I didn’t take the time to go check out most of Aya’s newer releases (though I do love Kizuna). After watching this, I will  [ Read More ]

An Earnest Competition Keeps Buono! #1

So, 2 weeks after the single’s release and creeping upon the release of the Single V, I am finally getting around to reviewing Buono!’s latest single, ‘Gachinko de Ikou!’ (translated as “Let’s Compete Earnestly!” on projecthello, thus the post title). I must say that this single is absolutely amazing! I am currently torn trying to decide if this is my favourite H!P release of 2008, or if High King still  [ Read More ]

The Berryz Koubou & °C-ute Nakayoshi Battle Concert Tour 2008 Haru ~Berryz Kamen vs. Cutie Ranger~ concert was released this week, and in the midst of doing this review, I have watched some of these performances between 6-10 times… Mainly because I keep getting distracted by the insane antics of people in wotachat, that I’d have to go back and watch the performance again. But anyway, I have been long  [ Read More ]
