Welcome to the new home of my blog! For nearly 2 years, I’ve been hosted by the awesome Ray Mescallado over on intlwota.com, but recently I started thinking that I should maybe get my own hosting and domain, seeing as I’ve lasted a lot longer with this blog than I originally thought I would.
So, I did just that! I spent a lot of time dilly-dallying on choosing a domain. I originally wanted fieldsofmaize.com, but didn’t get it because my brother told me it was too long of a domain name. But really, there was no other domain name that I wanted to get (though my #wotachat friend, James-kun suggested fom.com – unfortunately that domain name has been taken) so in the end, I went for it. What do you guys think? Is fieldsofmaize.com too long of a url for the lazy typers of the world? XD
It’s been seriously hectic for me recently, and it will continue to be super busy until at least Christmas. My office is closed from Christmas to New Years, though. So hopefully, I’ll be able to get some good old blogging done during that time. Matsuura Aya’s fall concert will be heading over my way soon, and I definitely want to review that once I get it.
So, with the move comes a slight blog name change. If you’ve been reading the blog recently, there hasn’t been much talk of Berryz Koubou here, while a lot of my attention has switched over to Morning Musume. My interest will obviously move around with whichever group has the songs which best catch my interest, but I thought it would be fitting to have Morning Musume reference in the blog title.
Also, I’d been wanting a change theme wise, and again the move was a perfect opportunity to fiddle around with a layout without disrupting the flow of the fields. What do you guys think of the new theme?

Congratulations~!! maiZe!! ＼(^o^)／☆ Such a big move~ to have your own domain location…I don’t even know how to use WordPress properly..(._.;)I love your chosen font for your name title~ and orange and black has a most pronounced look to it~♥! I know this will be a most *wonderful~* new home for you~ and it’s already *cozy*~ o(*´∀｀)o゛♥
@MB: Thankies! ^_^ I’m glad you like the font for the title… I originally used a different font, but then my annoying brother told me it that the font I chose was like the Comic Sans of the internet. -_-; But I really do like the font I ended up using too! ^_^
I’m already feeling quite comfortable here! I’m hoping that the new domain will make me feel a more inclined to blog more often, seeing as I’m now paying to have myself on the internet. XD

fieldsofmaize.com is just fine, it’s not just about the length of the URL, it’s perhaps even more important that it’s easy to remember
As for the theme, I’m a sucker for orange so I think it’s nice!

@yonasu: That’s what I figured too, which is why I went with it in the end. I usually read your blog through my feed reader, so I don’t always notice new theme changes, but I do love the orange on your blog too.
How do I not have your blog on my blogroll? (I’m notorious for not keeping my blogroll updated. -_-;)
