Lovely Bean is a worship blog for Morning Musume’s 5th generation members, Takahashi Ai and Niigaki Risa, aka Leader and Sub-leader, aka Lovely and Omame-chan (Japanese for “bean”, thus “Lovely Bean”). They are my favourite Morning Musume members from one of my favourite generations (4th and 5th generation are very high on my generation love list).
They joined Morning Musume in August of 2001, just around the same time I started listening to the group. Since I don’t exactly remember the date that I began my Morning Musume fandom, I have dubbed the anniversary of the addition of the Gokkies as my H!P anniversary (August 26th).
This blog will feature translations of Risa’s blog (and Aichan’s if/when she gets one), and random bits of Ai, Risa or Ai&Risa awesomeness, so as not to spam my main blog. Hope you all enjoy!
