Aichan’s Awesome Stage Presence… Or Something
Whenever I watch Ai-chan perform in a concert or at a live on a TV show, I’m always struck by how professional she is. She has this WOW factor that gets me every time she sings or dances. From what we see on the offical concert DVDs, it’s easy to forget (or easy to have no idea) of the OTHER Ai… The one who messes up, is ridiculously clumsy and throws her fellow members off.
Yesterday, I was drifting around the JPH!P forums and I noticed this posted by Estrea in Aichan’s thread:

- Ai almost fell off the stage during Mikan when she tried to act cool by placing one foot on one of the speakers, but Reina caught her wrist and pulled her back, so she’s fine. Phew. XD
A little later, while reading through some blog posts, I ran into this on Celestia’s Bikkuri Project:
-Ai-chan bounced too close to the edge of the stage and almost fell off during Mikan. Gaki and Reina, who were nearby, rushed over to pull her back. Be careful Ai-chan! We can’t have you breaking your ankle or something.
… Oh dear me. It’s amazing how she has 2 completely different sides – the calm, collected, never faltering Aichan and the dorky, clumsy, adorable Aichan. I love both sides, but the latter is so wonderfully entertaining to watch.
With that said, I just had to take a recent interview she did on OnRyu this past February with Risa and LinLin and chop out a few funny bits that remind us how imperfect Aichan can be. ^_^
No matter how many times I watch this clip, I cannot stop laughing. Aichan is hilarious, and that first line of hers from the song is so fitting!
I love how the girls can take it in stride when they screw up. I also love LinLin’s original answer pretty much stating she wouldn’t screw up her lines… ‘Cause she doesn’t have many. XD LOLOL
So, I hope you all enjoyed this break from the Risa blog translations… I’m feeling ridiculously overwhelmed just looking at her blog. At the moment, she has 49 blog posts for the month of May… It’s only the 5th. -_-; But it’s okay… I’ll endure! I have 3 May posts translated and up. I have one partially completed.. That’s only 45 more to go until I catch up! (Yea right… Risa will probably double that before I complete 10 more translations. XD)
